  • Fixed the app incorrectly setting a relation type to the user's person record.

New Features

  • Phone Keypad: Dial numbers directly from Dextr, quickly save the number to a new contact record, or associate the number with a person you recently met!

  • Card Stack Organizer now includes the ability to edit the full person record, including adding/removing relationships.

  • Added the ability to use a manual/custom order for your favorites (enable in More → Settings → Favorites sort).

  • When creating a new event, it's now possible to add existing people from your library.

  • The current event is now displayed at the top of the Events tab alongside the names of the people met at that event.

  • Added a lock screen / control center widget to quickly open Phone Keypad.

  • Added black color for relation groups, bringing the total available colors to 10.

  • When viewing a person, added the ability to copy a person's name / job title / organization via long-press.

  • Added a hometown label for contact Places. People with an address using this label will show in a new From here section when viewing that Place.

Improvements

  • Contacts Sync is now significantly faster, often completing instantaniously on app open for users with <1000 contacts.

  • Card Stack Organizer is now accessible from the main People tab.

  • Social Graph is now accessible via the main People tab and load time for the graph has been reduced.

  • The people sub-section bar has been moved to the bottom of the screen to make it easier to reach on larger phones.

  • Tapping the header of the Recently Met Widget will now open the current event or people met list.

  • Improved the performance of the People tab for users with larger contact libraries.

  • Improved performance of the Place tab for users with a lot of Places.

  • People met tab now sorts by recently added by default.

  • Reduced app memory footprint for users with contact libaries containing a lot of photos.

  • Improved the reliability of finding an existing nearby place from your library when creating a new event.

  • Added haptic feedback when selecting people on the social graph.

Bug Fixes

  • Added missing German & Italian translations for various texts.

  • Certain info like social profiles are not supported for contacts from non-iCloud accounts (such as Office 365), resulting in failed exports. To resolve this, that info will live only within Dextr and not be synced.

  • Fixed Nearby Places not showing on the Place tab.

  • Fixed changes to a person / relation type / relation group sometimes not being reflected across the app.

  • Fixed Contacts sync sometimes not detecting Dextr being installed on multiple devices, potentially resulting in duplicates.

  • Fixed the app incorrectly requesting Contacts sync access on secondary devices.

  • Fixed first met notes field not showing when adding a new person.

  • Fixed CSV export button showing for events with no people met / attendees.

  • Fixed searching for names when adding relationships or people to events not being diacritic-insensitive.

  • Fixed first met place for people not updating if the event location was changed.

  • When the current event auto-ends, the recently met widget now correctly updates without requiring Dextr being opened.
